Meet Me on the Corner of 3rd and Wednesday
Meet on the Corner of 3rd and Wednesday is an encouragement program designed to help you get more kids walking and biking to school at least one day every month while school is in session. We suggest holding the event on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, but you should pick the day that works best for your school.
Meet on the Corner of 3rd and Wednesday expands the Georgia SRTS Resource Center’s support for regular walking and biking by supplementing existing walk and bike to school events, including International Walk to School Day (October 3, 2012), Georgia Walk to School Day (March 6, 2013), and National Bike to School Day (May 8, 2013). Regular walking and biking promotes healthier students, safer streets, stronger communities, and a cleaner environment.
See you on the corner of 3rd and Wednesday!

Print out as few or as many of the Way to Tip Sheets as you need. Share them with others involved in your school’s SRTS program or use them to encourage folks to participate.
