Glaton Elementary participated in their first International Walk to School Day with a grand participation of over 500 people. All students, teachers, parents and local community officials participated in the walk. Glanton incorporated International Walk to School Day and Red Ribbon week to an all in one event. Each class made banners for the walk and red ribbon week. The kids also received a police escort from the City of Grantville Police Department and Fire Department.
